My Next Two Weeks

Saturday night L, E, N & I went to the Tunnel Bar downtown. I'd never been before, but it's the kind of bar I like, a touch classier than the Packard's variety. It's very much a tunnel and there's excellent lighting and seating is armchairs, grouped in twos and fours, around small tables. We drank classy-looking fruity martinis - melon for N and I, raspberry for L, and E's was BY FAR THE BEST, sour green apple; she and L ordered second rounds which N and I helped drink despite neither of us particularly needing more. I'd had a glass of wine before leaving the house and had underestimated just how much alcohol there is in a martini; needless to say I was QUITE pleasantly intoxicated - more so than I usually get, but not the point of any grossness. Which I attribute to the excellent slice of College Pizza I ate after.

My point being the Tunnel Bar is quite excellent, if rather expensive. I don't mind paying more for a quality experience. Sometimes it is nice to be of legal age.
