So stressed out. An (ungraded) legal writing assignment due tomorrow that I've barely started, plus an application for a research assistant position that I have to write an interest statement for. My cat's varied health problems (nothing life-threatening, but seriously frustrating, especially the ringworm - and especially since, through my own research, the topical meds the vet gave me for them are apparently fairly useless. So I made an appointment with a different vet for tomorrow, where I will discuss lime sulfur dips.) Our kitchen sink clogged two days ago and they're still trying to fix it. Our phone service seems to be perpetually down, and I'm really sick of it but now I have to deal with canceling it and getting Verizon instead.
And, of course, there's my roommate, who I really need to have a talk with. Her boyfriend has been essentially living here for about two months now - they never stay at his place because the people he rents from are morally against it, and god forbid they don't spend every second of spare time together. So he's here basically whenever he's not working - he's even here after she leaves in the morning since he starts later - and they only go to his place once a week to do laundry because it's free there.
It just blows my mind that she wouldn't even CONSIDER that this is objectionable - I signed up for one roommate, and a female one at that. I minded less initially, partly because I thought they'd get less extreme eventually and partly because he confined his crap to her bedroom and partly because I was trying so damn hard to just accept it - but now things are getting messier, and I am just getting sick of it in general, and it matters not that I think he's a nice guy or any of that. Some boundaries need to be established or I am going to go INSANE.
