well, after the fact that they killed Wash omg WHY?
I was thrilled that the reavers were a part of the story because c'mon, reavers! they are ickily disturbing. but while it was also disturbing that it was the alliance's shiny mind control attempts that created them, it was actually a hell of a lot creepier, in a lord of the flies sort of way, to think of reavers becoming what they were all on their own, through the darkest, most terrifying depths of human potential.
but that is just my own sick mind, and preference.
