and pocket your pills away

An unpleasant development of the past six months has been the advent of migraines. I don't usually get them too often, once a month or so, although in the past week I've had two. I also don't think I get them as badly as some people do. I can still function when I have one, although only minimally, and so far, taking two Excedrin Migraines takes care of them within an hour or so. They still suck enough for me to realize how much I didn't get that they sucked this much before I'd experienced one. I would think, migraine, okay, that's a really bad headache. Well, yeah. There's that. There's also the nausea, and then even when it's passed there's shakiness that lasts at least a few hours and feeling really, really out of it. Also a sort of giddiness born of the absence of pain, which is hopefully not as masochistic as it sounds.

So yeah. I had a migraine earlier. It sucked.

I want very badly to buy clothes, which is a futile longing because I seriously lack the kind of money that would satisfy the urge. It's partly the time of year, and partly that I really like the stuff they're selling this season. I'm not one to jump on the latest trendwagon, but the current styles are meshing rather nicely with my own tastes. I want I want I want. But I will resist.

It's raining again. The heat came on for a bit earlier. I think I would like to skip winter this year, and just have six more months of this.

Hi... I don't know you, but I was reading harkalark's friend's page and saw your migraine post. I get really bad migraines and have been taking feverfew (it's an herb you can get at GNC) for over a year now, and they're down from one every day to maybe one every other month. It's good stuff. You have to take it every single day though.

thank you! I will definitely look into that.

well see, I don't generally care about shoes, but I do care about t straps and mary janes, and so even the shoes around this season are making me all drooly. waaaah at least you have the POTENTIAL to be making nice money soon! soon enough to take advantage of the fabulous season of CLOTHES anyway.

When I get a migraine, I end up losing my vision, and I'm out of commission for 24 hours. Its like an out of body experience after the pain is gone, and I hate it!

Glad you are able to get over yours so much more easily!

I have completely succumbed to the clothes. I bought this fabulous heather gray cardigan with antique-style rhinestone buttons that I live in. I also bought olive-green suede loafer-style pumps with a brown suede bow and lacing that I also live in. I have decided that I will be making money in a year, so I can afford to let myself rack up a *little* credit card debt in the meantime. Plus, I am so relishing my last year of having an easy student's schedule that I absolutely refuse to limit my fun. I am hell-bent on making this year the most fabulous year of my life.
