Employment Discrimination final today, blah, but over. And actually not that bad. The only true standards I can really have, my third time around doing this, is that I put enough genuine hard work in that I don't look back and feel like I deserve a bad grade, and anything beyond that just feels out of my control. Truly I've liked law school so much more this semester, so much more than I could have imagined six months ago, and I'm so happy just with that, it feels like enough. Grades, whatever.
Still, so tiring. This was my big memorization exam, and I always hate those, so it's good to have it over with. I don't have another scheduled exam until next Friday, though I'm doing my Con Law take-home on Sunday, but I felt totally justified in taking the rest of today OFF. After I cleaned of course - because I hadn't cleaned in almost a week and things were just a WRECK - which of course means I had to do a few dishes and vacuum, because to let things get any messier goes against the laws of my nature, even during finals. Then I slept for two hours and woke up with a migraine, but it was the first one in almost three weeks and really, every single trigger I have was working against me. Multiple reruns of America's Next Top Model and it's mostly gone; I'm not even going to bother defending my addiction to that show because really, there is just no excuse for it.
But a new episode of my dear beloved Everwood and oh, the squee! of it. Bright is so my seekrit boyfriend; the scene with him reading Our Bodies Ourselves just made my year. And the rest of it was just so, so, wow, I love this show. I can't believe I was once embarassed to admit I watched it. Now I just feel vague pity for anyone who doesn't watch it, the poor deprived things.
It feels utterly disloyal to say this but I might like the Colbert Report even more than the Daily Show. It's The Word, I think. And Stephen Colbert's dorky ears.
Three inches of snow are supposed to fall tonight. Which means, of course, that greater Philadelphia is just *bracing* itself for the dire onslaught. Villanova already preemptively postponed tomorrow's exams by two hours. Subject to further change, in case the apocalypse arrives. Like, in the form of *five* whole inches of snow.
