It's going to be EIGHTY FUCKING DEGREES on Tuesday and Wednesday WHY OH WHY COME ON IT'S OCTOBER. Bastards!

No seriously, if it doesn't turn into actual fall soon I'm gonna cry. I mean it'll be because I'm premenstrual, but that's not the point.

Yesterday at five-thirty am, Libby sat on my chest and meowed at me until I woke up. Then I realized I had a raging migraine. Since this is not normal behavior for Libby (she sometimes gives me cheek rubs and head butts till I wake up, but that's only when it's much later in the morning, as in the sun has actually risen) the only explanation is obviously that Libby is the smartest cat ever and has developed the ability to sense migraines. (All other, more logical explanations should be checked at the door; I like my theory thank you.)

I hate this season's clothing. WHY are we doing an 80's flashback? Now, yes, the 80's offered some very nice music and excellent teen movies but I thought we were all in agreement that the fashion was something best forgotten. Tunics? Cowl necks? Leggings? SERIOUSLY? NO.

I mean, I kind of hate trends anyway. I like them fine as an observer, I guess. But when it comes to my own wardrobe, I'd rather have clothing I can wear till it wears out. Finding such clothing really varies in difficulty depending on the trends of the season, but it's really fucking impossible this year, and that's probably what really has me so bitter (because otherwise, really, why do I care if fashion victims feel the need to dress themselves in ugly, unflattering clothing just so they're trendy? It's just more people for me to laugh at from afar).

I really enjoyed escaping from reality this weekend and am not looking forward to tomorrow & my life, at all.

Yeah, we had about a week of cool (well, cooler than usual, since I live in Hell's Armpit) weather here, but it seems to have gone again. Back to wearing shorts, I guess.

And yes, fashion is stupid. Do you have a Goodwill or Salvation Army place in your area? You could always go there for older stuff so you don't have to dress in the latest Paris Hilton schlock or the like. Sometimes you can actually find decent stuff.
