I have a really painful sore throat.

This is so bad! I cannot be sick. In five days I can get the plague if need be, but right now I can't be sick!

what if you tried gurgling warm salt water? Try it three times a day, gurgling it about fives times each time ...

unless it's strep throat, then u should go see a doc :o)

Awww....I hope you feel better soon! And I agree with the salt water thing...and stick your head over a bowl of steaming water with a towel over your head.
