(no subject)

I had a really nice Christmas. Sadly, there was no snow. But there was family and fun times, and my Libby-cam worked so I was able to reassure myself periodically (and confirm that she really does NOTHING but sleep when I'm not here - lazy cat!)

Now, though, thanks to germ-y, virus-infested nephews, I'm getting sick. It's icky. And unlike my nephews, who seemed oblivious to their own coughing and sniffling, I am going to whine about it, frequently. Usually when I run into plague-carriers, I insist they stay far, far away from me. But I couldn't bring myself to do that to two (usually) sweet, Christmas-hyper boys. Even I'm not that misanthropic. (Yet. I'm still young. I have high hopes for the future.)

Children and colds - it's the gift that keeps on giving. Glad to see you made it home safely and that Libby is still alive and not depressed. It was wonderful to get to see you for more than a day. I hope you are not sick for too long. At least it will be while you're on break.

Love ya sis!

Yeah, I think I managed to avoid catching the baby plague from my sister's kids this visit. That wasn't the case for Thanksgiving, though. And yeah, it's pretty impossible to not play with them when they're that young and cute.
