SO amusing, in a misery-nostalgia sort of way-
I'm in the cafeteria at school listening to a group of 1Ls bitch at the next table over. It's exactly like erasing the past two years of my life. Gripe, gripe, omg only one grade for the whole semester! omg grading curves are so evil! omg if I had written this in undergrad I so would have had an A! omg they expect us to start looking for jobs before we even have our grades!
It's also funny to hear them whining about the memo when I just want to tell them THE BRIEF IS WAY WORSE and never even mind oral arguments.
It's not that any of that has changed in the past two years; it just goes to show what you can get used to. Still, I thank whatever divine providence exists that my 1L year ended and that the rest of law school has been so much more agreeable. Even if it is just because I've been brainwashed.
In other news, I'm taking a brief break from studying non-stop tonight because it's Vivaldi night! And just fifty minutes of talking about Aristotle in Jurisprudence to get through and then weekend! Never mind that I will be working for pretty much every waking moment tomorrow; at least I don't have to shower before noon unless I really, really want to.
