Lord did my Employee Benefits exam suck. I think it was partly designed to suck - i.e., too much to write in too little time - but I also think I sucked in particular. The class reminded me of AP Economics senior year in high school - individual components would seem to make sense but then I could never get the big picture, and when it came time to try to apply the material, forget it. Ugh. Bad flashbacks! And I just checked the grade distributions for prior years, and yeah, not a forgiving grader. I am so screwed. And I'm exhausted and bleeding and kind of just want to cry a lot now.

Or else just stare at my icon of Hugh Laurie for a while.

My theory is that they have him fake the accent not because they need the character to be American, but because his real accent combined with his insane hotness is too much for most people's cardiovascular systems to handle.

Good theory! I don't watch the show so I don't really have much to say on the matter....but I totally agree with you.

Oooh, and I must tell you I have been recording X-files to watch with Ethan for some silly reason...and I just recorded the episode about the vampires in a small Texas town...the one where Mulder sings "Shaft" and Luke Wilson may or may not have bucked teeth. And I totally thought of you and how much we loooooved that episode!

Hugh Laurie is so ridiculously sexy. And I'm not sure why, cuz he's such an ass on House. But I love that show and I love him. Mmmmm....

Dude, there is no why. But he is possibly the hottest man alive.

Personally, I love the character BECAUSE he's an asshole. Or at least, because he's an honest asshole. Egoism and misanthropy are total turn ons. But then we know I'm weird.
