OK.  There was something hinky with the lines, and the cable is now back.  This is apparently the cause of the intermittent crappy reception I've been getting the last couple of days, though, so we'll see if that is solved too.  Which annoys me, because I was fretting that it was the tivo, and that the hard drive was about to go.  Which really WOULD cause me severe mental pain and suffering - I don't even know HOW to watch television without tivo anymore.

Oh my addiction, let me show you it.

In other news, House premiere last night! Was very happyness-inducing.  House+Wilson hijinks=much love.

I know what you mean. Vance and I recently had a discussion about watching TV live vs. DVR. This was just before the beginning of premiere week, and at that point I realized that I don't think I watched anything live all summer. Probably not from the Heroes finale to the Heroes premiere.

And yes, it was wonderful to have House back. I can't wait to see how he's going to torment the job applicants. And is it just me or did they make Cutty less Cutty-ish over the summer? My guess is that they will attempt to revive the previously-hinted-at romance between the two of them.
