heroes!

1. The action has picked up even more, and that's great, but I do still wish there were more of a sense of where the story was going. I know it's hard to top "imminent nuclear holocaust omg!", but I think it's really essential on a show like this, with so many characters and stories going on at once. Last season's five-week explosion deadline gave them something to work against. It forces the writers to be disciplined, to keep the story moving forward and not sink under its own weight. I mean, I personally think "will HRG DIE?" to be kind of on par with nuclear holocaust b/c I love & adore HRG, but I'm sane enough to realize it actually ... isn't. So come on, show! You can do it!

2. Still LOVE Monica. And she and Micah were both so completely adorable in all of their scenes together. Micah's face when she was kicking ass at double dutch! When's the last time the poor kid was that happy?

3. I do not believe for a minute that Jessica is merely a symptom of MPD. If I am wrong, I will eat whatever article of clothing one offers to eat when making such declarations.

4. Ireland was far more interesting now that the story is gaining speed. I've liked Caitlin throughout, just not much of the rest of the storyline, so I'm okay with her tagging along to Montreal. I just wish they'd come up with some reason for her to lose the terrible, terrible accent. IT IS SO DISTRACTING.

5. omg KILL THE JAPAN STORYLINE NOW PLEASE. It hurts my soul. :(

6. Matt/Nathan - AWESOME! As I told my sister when we chatted after the show, I am incredibly gullible, and was buying Matt's dad's oh-I'm-so-innocent routine. The nightmare sequences were very, very cool, and even cooler that they ended up fighting each other, an COOLER STILL that it seems Matt can psychically project now(?). Pasdar and Grunberg work well together. If I can't have Milo and Adrian on screen together, I'll settle for more of them.

7. Kristen Bell. Since I've been watching Gossip Girl, I haven't had much of a chance to miss her, but it was nice to see her regardless. Re: her character, I'll have to withhold judgment for now.

8. Mohinder. I love you, and I understand why you did it, but next time, LISTEN TO HRG. He is never wrong.

9. No wonderously dull twins and no skanky West! Good times.
