You give me Peter-in-the-future and you STILL can't reunite him with Nathan?
OK fine, Peter and Mama Petrelli, very sweet, I might've even teared up. Whatev. You made Nathan DEAD in that future! DEAD YOU BASTARDS!
I may have lied when I said I fell in love with the show b/c of Peter. It was Peter AND Nathan I loved in the pilot, being predisposed by my recent exposure to Supernatural to be weirdly fond of complicated, intense brotherly relationships. Then you end last season the way you did, and you bring back Nathan all sad and broken, and Peter all amnesia'd, and I have been veryvery patient, but no more!
Um, okay. Other stuff.
* This episode, apart from what it LACKED re: above rant, was very awesome.
* STUPID JAPAN STORYLINE IS OVER YAY YAY YAY! HIRO AND ANDO REUNION OMG SO ADORABLE!
* Sorry, I totally saw the Kensei=Adam thing coming.
* Matt was fifty kinds of kick-ass tonight. Oh, Matt. You're totally my hero too!
* Mohinder, on the other hand, while he continues to be ridiculously pretty, also keeps on with the making me want to *facepalm* and say oh, Mohinder.
* Thank you for bringing back Niki, not that Pod!Niki we've had all season thus far.
* Dude, HRG's moral ambiguity and growing desperation are what make him AWESOME, not reasons to want to kill him! Bastards.
* OK, so I was wrong about West. I still think he's lame.
* All right. Peter has some of his memories back. I have some hope for the implications of that. I am kind of sad that they took Caitlin away from him - also I kind of wonder what happens to her if she's still stuck in the future when (as you know it inevitably must) the future is changed? I mean, doesn't that whole future kind of disappear? Show, kindly resolve that at some point because I like Caitlin.
* Peter cont'd. I will be sad if you make him the unwitting puppet of Adam though. ADAM WOULD TOTALLY TURN HIM AGAINST NATHAN and we can't have that.
* So Nathan. Who killed me when - *rewinds TiVo to rewatch* - he says, all deadly quiet, "If you want to talk about my brother, you better be very careful what you say next." And then Bob-O being all, Your brother is alive! Oh, and um. We kinda lost him. Because we suck like that.
Next week: Flashback episode! Looks like I'll at least have a few seconds of Peter and Nathan, right before they go all explode-y. Oh, and some other way less exciting stuff too.
ETA: OMG MOLLY! MOLLY CAN FIND PETER! Does Nathan know that? I never know how much these characters actually talk to each other about this stuff. Still, he and Matt have been all buddy-buddy surely it came up sometime! OK, now I am mollified. (heh, get it, *molly*fied? *is lame*)
