strike the harp and join the chorus
My halls have been decked, though alas there are no boughs of holly. I don't have room for a tree, and I'm not cleaning dead needles up for anything less. Still, there are sparkly lights and glittery gold and silver and red and green and blue things, and angels and snowmen and santa clauses. Good enough.
I haven't bothered decorating since New Hampshire, mostly because the last three Decembers were all dominated by crazy-making exam hell, and trying to enjoy holiday stuff while that was going on just seemed masochistic, and by the time it ended there were only a few days left before Christmas anyway.
Despite my festive environs, I'm a bit glum. I think it's a Friday thing, being unaccountably sad. Still no luck finding Nutcracker Sweet tea, either. What good is it living a stone's throw away from five different grocery stores if none of them can be bothered to stock a holiday necessity?

Give me the brand on this tea and I shall make it my life's work to have some in the house when you arrive. Surely Wegmans will come through for us?
