So I continue my trend of waking up crazy early, though this time I suspect it was because I tried to swallow in my sleep and the burning pain woke me up. Yes, I have a sore throat! After Christmas! SUCH a shocker! I felt variably crappy last week, but the symptoms never quite meshed together to bloom into a real, full-fledged cold, but I spent the past few days saying things like, "I know I'm going to get SICK. If only because I'll MAKE myself sick worrying about it so much." At least it is probably not the flu, which was the source of most of my paranoia anyway, as that was a year ago exactly and so misery-inducing I can't really be blamed for my irrational trauma-based worrying.

Now I'm going to have soup for breakfast, because I already had tea and it helped only a little, and also because soup is always awesome, even for breakfast.
