clothing and kittens

Oh god, I'm going to talk about clothes.  Just briefly, I swear.

It occurred to me last night that while I have clothes that qualify as business casual, most of them are made for the summer months, and so I needed to do a bit of shopping.  What didn't occur to me was that it was THE BEST TIME to do so - sales!  jesus, the sales.  Among other awesome things, I bought my first ever cashmere sweater - not so much because it was cashmere, but because it was the most amazing color ever, but I can't deny that the cashmere part's a little exciting.

Also.  I am sentimental, so I must share that it was three years ago today that I got Libby, and every day since has been a little bit happier (and just a wee bit more exasperating) for having the Libster in my life.  She is adorable and squishy and soft and bratty and funny and clever and the best cat in the world, and I love her to bits.

Yeah, I don't shop for clothes very often, so I had no idea about the sales either. I went to the mall (first time in years) earlier this week just to walk around and kill time, and I ended up with a kick-ass winter coat because I kinda sorta needed one and it was a great deal.

And yay for kitties. I was at a friend's house tonight, and she got jealous because her cat was snuggling up to me more than to her. Ha.
