Wow, one-eighty from last week! Also, awesome. And horrifying. And kind of sad. And it was Gwen-heavy, and that didn't annoy me as much as it usually does! Dare I hope they've finally figured out how to write her consistently?

Owen continues to be - pleasant. And kind of subdued. STOP MAKING ME NOT HATE YOU, OWEN. I can't handle the cognitive dissonance.

More Tosh plz. But, she was competent and kind of bossy to Owen, I approve.

Ianto! Pink shirt of awesomeness! Ha, I bet it's the same one he was wearing last week when Jack asked him out. I bet he hasn't taken it off since! OMG please be true. Let's pretend it's true, that makes me happy. I mean clearly he's kind of giddy about the whole thing since he spent the entire episode being the snarky naughty Ianto we've only glimpsed before, times a billionty. The world: Hi, I'm about to end! Ianto: I will snark in response. Because Jack totally wants to court me! IANTO HOW ARE YOU SO AWESOME? And please feel free to continue commenting knowingly on Jack's bedside manner, it makes me swoon.

I don't know why I bother pretending it's not all about Ianto. IT TOTALLY IS. I'm not even ashamed, much.

I quite liked this - plot holes aside, it was good to see an episode that worked on the basis of little things like plot and character. But either your computer or my tv is way off, because Ianto's shirt this week was clearly orange (and with the blue and orange tie to match both the shirt and the suit...).

I haven't had a chance to rewatch and check, but quite possibly you're entirely correct! Apparently last week when I said Ianto should wear pink shirts always, I hypnotized myself into only ever seeing him in pink for the rest of time. My powers of self-delusion, they are awesome. Also kind of awesome? The meticulous attention you give to Ianto's wardrobe. ;)
