I AM REALLY HAPPY THAT JON STEWART WAS THE ONE TO TELL ME THAT BARACK OBAMA IS GOING TO BE OUR NEXT PRESIDENT.

OMG AMERICA. IT'S A REALLY GOOD DAY.

Yargh! I don't have cable and was therefore confined to digital TV with rabbit ears, so I wasn't able to watch Comedy Central's coverage. But hopefully I'll be able to find it online tomorrow.

WOO!

I'm canceling my cable soon, but I'm really glad I hadn't gotten around to doing it yet. :DDDD

I heard it first from Jon Stewart too! \o/

I'm not even American and I couldn't stop crying during Obama's speech. WELL DONE, AMERICA.

I'm often pretty cynical when it comes to American politics, but the hope and joy on the faces of the people in the crowds during his acceptance speech seriously made me cry. :DDDDDD
