All right. So, when I was younger, I was a dork. Granted, I still am a dork, but I was the sort of dork who thought friends were all right to have in school but that was it. My idea of a fun Friday night was hanging with my parents, and... watching tv.

Oddly, I watched more adult shows when I was a kid (Picket Fences, The X-Files, Homocide). When I hit about eighth grade, or maybe it was ninth, I started watching TGIF. Anyone remember that? Crappy shows, but I loved them. Actually, my love was Boy Meets World. Cheesy as all hell, but that show just killed me.

So, I've got this lingering love for it, connected as it is to pivotal life moments and whatnot, and, well, I just liked it a whole hell of a lot. So, now Disney shows reruns every weeknight. And I, dork that I still am, have been watching them. Nostalgia trip, or what have you.

I'm still entertained. What I never noticed, though, till now, is how damn slashy the show is.

Cory and Shawn - the vibes! The looks! The lust!

Eric and Jack - gah!

There is clearly a reason why the female characters on that show were either a) blah as hell or b) replaced weekly. It was about the boys, and their blatant homoeroticism.

Roswell is not, after all, the slashiest show in existence.

That title belongs to Boy Meets World.

Hell, with a title like that, what can you expect?

(Needless to say, I like the show even more now, with this newfound angle of appreciation.)
