Whoo, super speedy presto connection. After sloshing along with 44K dial-up all summer, it's a little freaky.
So, I'm here. I'm checked in. I'm moved in. I'm unpacked. And completely organized.
The good, so far:
I love my room.
I LOVE my view - pond, greenhouse, gardens...
My library schedule is fantastic.
Ethernet.
The bad, so far:
I, apparently, did not get one of the Hampshire classes.
There is only a door between my room and the room next door. Which belongs to Brook. Who, I know from previous experience, is loud. Especially at night. Very late.
Everything feels wrong. It's all familiar but the people are absent. Everything reminds me of the ones I miss, the ones I won't see for a very long time. Everything reminds me that I am alone.
I am overwhelmed, and alone.
