(no subject)

If there's one thing I wholeheartedly miss about home, it's the endless supply of diet coke supplied and paid for and mostly untouched by my mother. My addiction always skyrockets in the summertime; it's a seasonal hazard.

There's the dispenser in the dining room, but I've lost tolerance for the watered-down, bitter flatness of it. I prefer it bottled. Better in a glass and on ice. Wholly ecstatic is diet coke in the can, when the carbonation is at a throat-burning high, but cans single-servings and I prefer my caffeine in as large a dose as possible.

I should learn to like coffee. I think I'm going to work on that. Not that I'll ever give up diet coke, which remains the happiest part of my day.

I dreamed I was listening to a new Tori song. I must have a hell of a musical imagination, because I'd swear I'd never heard it before and I'd also swear that it was damn good. Her cover album's coming out... this week? Next week? Should find out. I've been waiting on the new Bjork so I can order them together.

And that is the *best* news I've heard all day. Now I know where to spend my free morning - downtown, buying cds.

Thank you. You are a truly lovely human.
