Spring semester classes:

ENG 216 Chaucer
ENG 226 17th Century Poetry
HST 290 Minorities in Medieval Society
REL 110 Women Mystics' Theology

And now that I am all registered, I realize how absolutely lacking that schedule is in anything remotely modern. Eh, oh well.

[i think your classes sound wonderful, which is so terribly surprising given that we are nothing alike, huh? *g* women mystics' theology sounds particularly interesting].

I'm hoping it's a good schedule. Should be heavy reading, but it all looks promising. Except perhaps for Chaucer. But yes, Women Mystics is definitely the one I'm most excited for. :)

ooh yes exciting classes. are those all at smith? how are you non smith classes going?

[identity profile] ivyenglish.livejournal.com 2001-11-10 07:14 pm (UTC)(link)
And yes, they are all at Smith. My Hampshire class is going okay, although there's a little too much show and tell. I hate that sort of thing, as you know. Shaky hands and trembling voice. I was not made for public speaking, damn it.

I do not like Chaucer, either. Sadly, it's a requirement for my major. I guess I'll have to muddle through somehow.

I'm registerd for Women Mystics' Theology as well! It's gonna be so fun! I almost didn't sign up for it thinking I would take some Latin American class on revolutions (well it sort of fits into my little fantasy) but then I realized I need to take at least one somewhat fluffly class! I hope it will be fluffly! At least it will be a 100 class! We are going to have a great time!

Dude, that is so awesome. We are going to have so much fun next semester. (It *has* to be better than this one. My standards are pretty low, right now.) And as a 100-level, it sure as *hell* better be fluffy.

And hey, Doug Patey thought it looked cool. And he is God, you know.
