the whole planet at arm's length, we don't deserve this place
The Praxis person at the CDO approved my application. I am now officially going to be doing the internship and getting paid for it. Furthermore, I am also officially driving from Syracuse to San Diego with L three weeks after the end of school.
She and I spent a few minutes looking at my road atlas considering the various routes we might take and places we'd like to see. I quickly determined that it was best I just tell her what places I'm interested in seeing - that is, just about the entirety of the Southwest - and then let her plan the route and itinerary. I just want to see too many things. It overwhelms me, who has never been anywhere, who loves the desert more than anything.
But this is happy, happy, happy news.
